Solo Guitar, Duos and Trios
For occasions when either space or budgets are smaller, we will usually appear in either a duo or trio setting with an assortment of other professional instrumentalists from the area. Song selections include jazz standards, some fusion, and original compositions.
Blake Slusaw Quartet
The Blake Slusaw Quartet focuses on performing original compositions in a contemporary style. With the quartet, the sound is filled out by horns, piano, upright bass, or drums according to the event. This is the preferred group for events where the focus is primarily on the live music itself.
Event Entertainment
For event entertainment, groups can range anywhere from duos to quintents depending on space, budget, and preference. Song selections will vary according to the event's parameters. Depending on these parameters, music may lean more towards heavy funk grooves or light jazz that serves as a backdrop for the occasion.
